Hands-free operations

See the next scan instruction while keeping your hands free.

Keep your hands available while following guided warehouse tasks. Voice prompts, scans, labels and packing photos stay connected to the assigned operation; supported steps depend on the device.

Device shapes

Choose the interaction around the operator’s hands

HUD and glasses

Prompt, confirm, scan

A visual cue and voice path guide the next bounded operation without presenting a full management console.

Ring scanner

Scan at the point of handling

A paired scanner feeds item and location identity into the active wearable step.

Wrist terminal

Compact confirmation

A narrow display supports task progress and exceptions where a handheld would interrupt handling.

Hands-free slice

The wearable exposes a bounded operation, not every warehouse screen

Receive assigned step

The operator opens an eligible wearable workflow under an authenticated warehouse session.

Prompt and scan

Voice, HUD and scanner input identify the expected item, location or package.

Confirm or raise exception

Only responses defined for that step are offered.

Print or capture proof

Where supported, label output or packing proof remains attached to the operation.

Device options

Choose the device for your workflow

Vuzix application

Explore voice guidance, barcode scanning, Bluetooth label printing and packing photos for the selected Vuzix device.

Rokid application

Review guided operator tasks and the supported controls for your Rokid device.

Other devices

For RealWear or another device family, share the model and required tasks so we can review the integration with your team.

Device selection

Choose the device, firmware, scanner and printer together with the workflow; compatibility is specific to that combination.

Online batch start

Offline picking can advance only after the batch starts online

The wearable offline envelope is narrower

A supported picking batch must be opened while connected so assignment and reference state are established. The wearable may then advance only the bounded offline steps allowed by that contract.

  • No new offline batch is invented from stale local data.
  • The full handheld offline mutation catalog is not inherited.
  • Server reconciliation remains required before downstream completion.

Vuzix lane

Speech, scan, print and proof stay in one task

Speech

Voice interaction advances only the currently permitted choices.

ML Kit scan

Visual barcode capture validates the expected operational identity.

BLE label

A supported printer receives output tied to the active warehouse step.

Packing proof

Captured evidence stays associated with the bounded packing operation.

Your equipment

Match the device to the work

Workflow permissions

Operators receive the tasks and actions allowed for their device and account.

Device application

Choose the application designed for the device family and the required warehouse tasks.

Site configuration

Plan hardware, firmware, peripherals and network coverage together for each site.

Plan your first hands-free workflow

Bring the device family, scanner or printer, online start point, offline steps and exception path. We will keep the scope narrower than the handheld where the contract requires it.
