Receive faster and deal with discrepancies straight away

Your team sees what was expected, what arrived and what needs a decision.

  • ASN and appointments

Prepare the arrival, dock, handling units and receiving constraints.

  • Scan and reconcile

Identify products, cartons, pallets, lots and serial numbers when you receive the goods.

  • Discrepancy and quality

Separate shortages, overages, damage, non-conformance and hold decisions.

Put every item in the right place

Ysend directs putaway using your zones, capacity and traceability rules. Every movement remains visible from receiving to transfer.

Keep inventory accurate and available

  1. Count and correct

Cycle counts surface differences before they become fulfilment failures.

  2. Replenish

Thresholds and pick demand create work towards active locations.

  3. Protect availability

Lots, serials, dates, reservations, holds and recalls stay attached to the right quantity.

Prepare more orders with fewer exceptions

Priorities, picking and packing all work from the same available inventory.

  • Plan the work

Group and prioritise orders against capacity, promise and site constraints.

  • Pick with evidence

Guide scans, consolidation, replenishment and exception handling.

  • Pack and consume

Cartonise, print, capture proof and account for packaging supplies used.

  • Hand over to transport

Record the units handed to the carrier, the manifest and the handoff status.

The right information for every team

Operator and team leader

The operator performs authorised work; the team leader dispatches tasks, arbitrates exceptions and watches load.

Manager and client

The manager runs the site; the client sees its inventory, inbound, orders and evidence within its own scope.

Before you decide

Your WMS project, in practice.

WMS prepares and hands over the parcel. Ysend can then run your own fleet with TMS or manage external carriers with TTMS.

Who is Ysend WMS for?

For 3PL operators, distributors and businesses managing warehouse inventory and daily operations. It covers receiving, locations, stock counts, picking, packing and returns, with access tailored to each team.

Do I need to outsource my warehouse to use the WMS?

No. WMS supports the warehouse operation you run. If you want a partner to store and fulfil your stock, Self Service Logistics provides a separate route for reviewing that requirement.

What should I prepare for a setup discussion?

Bring your site count, product references and volumes, lot or serial requirements, picking methods and systems to connect. Ysend uses these details to define the scope, setup steps and commercial terms with you.

Choosing a WMS: test your warehouse working day

Prepare a journey that reflects your operation, from receiving to carrier handoff. Include a supervisor and an operator to compare the decisions, steps and information each role needs.

Five situations to bring

  • A receipt with a discrepancy
Where are received quantities and differences recorded? Who decides how to handle missing or damaged items?
  • An item that must not be picked
How are physical, available and held quantities distinguished? If your operation uses lots or serial numbers, how can they be traced?
  • A shortage at the picking location
How does the operator see the problem? Which decision belongs to the supervisor, and how does work resume?
  • A packed parcel ready to leave
What records the end of preparation? Where does the carrier’s responsibility begin, and how can the handoff be found later?
  • A returned item to inspect
Who records its condition and decides whether it can return to stock? How can that decision be reviewed later?

Bring a few anonymised product references, a typical order and your operating rules. Include a busy-day scenario with your peak volumes.

Record what is demonstrated

For each situation, note the user’s role, actions, result and unanswered questions. Separate what was demonstrated from what needs configuration or further confirmation for your project. Ask which version and scope the demonstration covers.

Compare budgets on the same basis

Prepare your sites, users, normal and peak volumes, traceability rules, devices and systems to connect. Ask for software, configuration, data connections, migration and setup support to be distinguished, together with inclusions, exclusions and each party’s responsibilities.
