Physical flow

Track each truck and its dock door from arrival to departure.

For yard, dock and receiving teams: see appointments, dock doors and handoffs in one place.

Visit timeline

Appointment to departure

  1. Before arrival

    The appointment reserves a window

Carrier, site, operation type and dock constraints prepare the visit.

  2. At the gate

    Arrival identifies the trailer

Gate control reconciles vehicle, driver, appointment and destination.

  3. Assignment

    The door becomes a resource

Availability, operation, safety and priority determine the dock assignment.

  4. At the dock

    Unloading and discrepancies stay linked

Received units, damage, discrepancies and custody changes join the arrival record.

  5. In staging

    Staging retains the next destination

Staging lanes separate receiving, cross-dock, loading and yard waiting.

  6. Departure

    Handoff closes the visit

Loading, carrier custody and gate-out close the visit without erasing exceptions.

Assignment

Confirm the door before movement

The system reconciles

  • appointment, trailer, vehicle and carrier
  • yard capacity, door and staging lane
  • ASN, receipt, load and next operation

The team retains the decision

  • validate arrival and access
  • confirm or change the door
  • record exceptions and authorise departure

Carrier bookings

Handle changes without a chain of phone calls

How does a carrier book a slot?

You share a booking link for one warehouse, with its opening hours, bookable days and slot length. The carrier picks a free slot and describes the delivery without needing an account. The request then waits for your answer.

What if the slot is taken in the meantime?

Free capacity is checked again when the request is sent. If the slot has gone, the carrier picks another one. The unloading time for the load must also fit within the opening hours.

Can the carrier cancel or change a request?

Yes, while the request is waiting for your answer or for a reply to the time you proposed. With its access key, the carrier can withdraw it or, when you have proposed a time, offer another slot on the same appointment. Once you confirm it, the carrier contacts your site instead.

Custody and safety

A status does not move a trailer

Physical authority remains on site

Ysend coordinates appointments, assignments, requested moves and evidence; site personnel execute and confirm the physical move.

Security rules, driver checks and dock safety procedures remain the operator’s responsibility.
